When a user submits multiple games, and that user has a longer username than most (e.g. the user GBS), the recent projects alignment gets all wacky.

The link on the announcements thing is broken. It has an extra 'forum' in it, causing a problem. If you keep forum/ in it, it goes to a "404 not found" page. If you take it out, it will just refresh the homepage.

In the footer for the site, it says "Copyright © 2009 GameCOG.net" when it should now be "Copyright © 2009-2010 GameCOG.net". I think I mentioned it before to you (Drazzke) when on Skype or MSN, but you must have forgotten to fix it.

You should be able to play Flash games / projects on the site instead of having to go to a 3rd party website (see Pixel Runner 2 for example). This would probably only be possible once the site actually allows uploads instead of linking to the project download.

There should be more awards, such as - an award for having been on the top of the points leaderboard (oh wait...that's me ), some awards for posting a certain amount of times, awards displaying you won GameCOG competitions (1st, 2nd, and 3rd), and maybe for posting a project or 5 projects ...? Just trying to brainstorm for some stuff here for V(4?).

It'd be cool / nice if each profile page had its own guestbook, so friends could post comments on their profiles.

On/in recent comments, it displays the formatting in [ ]. Example: [center] or [image] (for emoticons, etc) It probably shouldn't do that, as people want to see the context of the message instead of formatting stuff.

On the Dashboard > Account page, your birthdate is shown in YY-MM-DD format. However, the MM box keeps getting refreshed (when you return to the page) to show both month and date. The date box still shows the date, so it seems to be only a problem with the middle (month/MM) box.

The description for Agent (by ninjutsu63) on the homepage says "created for YYG's competition" when it was for GameCOG's (see the description ninjutsu63 wrote himself on the game). Just wanted to fix that little bug up.

I've upgraded finally from IE8 to Firefox, and ratings on reviews finally works for me. So it must be a problem with IE8.

When the most recent post is deleted in a topic, the username of the deleted post remains the most recent poster in that topic. (should update to the NOW most recent post)

A friend adding system? Add users as friends on your profile?

When viewing someones profile, if you click Send user a PM, it sends you to the PM page, but does not insert their name into the name form. This should happen automatically.

Perhaps clicking the Recent Activity heading on the home page could lead to a new page with a list of say, the last 50 activity things? If you sleep at night, you usually wake up and the sidebar is completely different, and you wonder what you missed.

I noticed there's no Sent Items section for PMing...sometimes I like seeing how stuff looks after I sent it, or to make sure it was sent. Maybe that could be added in the future...?

I can't post new updates for projects anymore, because the only way you can do that is by pressing the "Post New Update" *BUTTON* which won't work for me. Compatibility View won't work for me either; it just cuts off some of the text. Other Bugs: The Post Review button won't work for me; I have to use the link on the overview page. New Topic button DOES work now for me. Rating on reviews still doesn't work, I enter a rating and it says I gave 0/10, so sometimes people think I actually rated that and won't give me any points for my review.

In the recent activity sidebar, underlined text does not show as it does in the forums. I'm guessing this is probably true for bold and italic as well.

With the Forum and Members tab up the top, perhaps make it that when mouse over, show text with a description of what it is, instead of a blank space. Forum: Chat with the friendly GameCog community. Ask a question, tell them about yourself, or what you have for lunch yesterday! (probably don't make it that lame)

When creating a new message to someone, perhaps make the to form, and the user search form the same thing. Just a really small change, but should just make things smoother and easier. Put this on the last of your priorities.

Add a link by each post/comment to uniquely identify each post/comment on GameCOG so you can reference a particular one easily.

When awarding a user points for a review, it says something like: "You have just set the amount of points to be awarded when something something review. Thank you"

I'm testing Slammin Sam's bug that submitting bugs/suggestions won't work in Chrome. If this shows up then it's something weird with Sam's settings.

It'd be nice if the usernames, when displayed in comments on projects, would have a link to the user's profile. (e.g. - turboRamble posted 5 minutes ago :: "turboRamble" would have a link to my profile)

I posted a page on one of my games, and after posting the page (saying your project has been posted) it brought me to a page that said "project does not exist!". However, fortunately the page still saved on my game.

The thumbnail size of your project should be the same size/aspect ratio through the whole site. The thumbnail shouldn't stretch the picture.

The point system on GC has a lot of potential. Anyone who has signed up at GMArcade.com, will know they have a coin system. I thought this was the best idea ever, but the site isn't as active as GC, so the idea didn't really get used. I propose that (when GC have fixed a lot of bugs and when they have time) we make a point system like this, here on GC. It's just like a currency, but it's fake money! What you can do with points: -Send points to others. This means you can pay people for their services and heaps of other stuff. (competitions as well) -Store: People can upload Examples/Game Extensions, graphics, music and all sorts of stuff, then other users can buy these with their points, and download it. -Competitions: Winners of GC comps can recieve points as well as real money. Users can also hold their own competitions and give points as a reward. -Coin leaderboard: A list of all the users ordered in the amount of points they have. You may be thinking.....why would people do so much work, for fake money? This is where something AWESOME comes in. There can be several empty advertisement areas on this site, and any other site that supports GameCog. You can buy these spaces for points, and they expire in say, 1 week or two. This means you can advertise your games, your website, anything like that, which will definetly get you some more plays and comments on your games! There could also be a huge advertising banner on the home page or something, that a user can win, by being most active on the site every two weeks. Go on, sign up to GMA, and have a look around the store. I think this is a fantastic idea, that GC should definately take on board! As this is a really active site, it would make everything so much better, and also bring more quality users to the site. ~Slammer

When viewing the list of bugs, perhaps the text that you click on to expand the bug description, could also be click to.....un-expand? Go back to what it was before you clicked on it.

On the home page, the games that 'need your help' that offer points for feedback, the 2nd and 3rd blue page buttons do not work. The 1st refreshes the 4 games there, the other do nothing.

When editing your signiture...... I am unable to make any of the text bold, underlined, or italic. The changes do not save.

When viewing screenshots in large, the box that comes up over the site is twice as wide as it needs to be, and isn't in the center of the screen.

Unable to post bug in this bug section with Chrome, it just erases it, and I forgot to copy what I'd written before I clicked submit.

Unable to check my inbox. Up the top it says 1 unread message, but in my Inbox it says "No messages to display..." I really want to check my message.

In google chrome, I seem unable to post. Whenever I click the post reply button after typing my reply, nothing happens except what I just wrote is erased. However, it works fine in firefox.

Child boards on the forum index have the wrong links.

I only just now noticed that in comments, it has the username of the commenter but not a link to their profile. It would be nice if we could have that little feature; because sometimes people feel like going to a commenter's page to see they're stats/projects.

Now that email notifications are up and working, I noticed I got an email notif. from my own comment on my review in reply to someone.

I recently noticed that the thumbnail for videos is an image from the rick rolled video? http://www.gamecog.net/project/60 http://img.youtube.com/vi/oHg5SJYRHA0/default.jpg is the image. It should be changed to: http://img.youtube.com/vi/[VIDEO ID]/default.jpg

When uploading screenshots they must use underscores and not spaces. Not sure if this was a bug or was intentional but it was rather annoying. After uploading a lot of screenshots, and not knowing what it meant, I tested with underscores and it worked. Had to delete all files and re-upload them.

Once modifying posts and saving, am returned to the forum thread page (e.g. I went from the GameCOG V3 page to the thread list in the News Bulletin). Also sometimes underlining/bold/italics won't turn off even though the button is turned off and the bar down the bottom of the post says it is also.

There are two links that need fixing. The [View Discussion] link in the GameCOG news on the front page. And the GameCOG's Designer's workshop in the Game Development forum.

Buttons such as "New Topic" (in the forum) and "Write Review" (on any game's review page) don't work for me at all. Editing reviews also doesn't work still - I can't find any button for it even seconds after posting a review. Entering a rating in a review doesn't work - I choose one after typing out a review and hit submit and it says I gave a 0/10.

Games don't download when the second download game is clicked.

Links to the topics in the "Recent Post" column on the forums dont work.

Sometimes when first opening GameCOG, messages read: "Messages []" then after a refresh, it reads correctly at: "Messages [0]"

Logging in does not always work, nor does logging out. You occasionally seem to be kept logged in on some pages, but not others.
